Silanes & Siloxanes for Contact Lenses
While all contact lenses reduce oxygen permeability to the front surface of eyes, contact lenses made from Silicone hydrogel allow more oxygen to pass through the lens than the conventional contacts made from regular hydrogel. In addition, Silicone hydrogel contact lenses contained SiSiB PC4108 improve oxygen permeability and achieve comfortable wearing experiences.
SiSiB® PC4108 is not only used to produce contact lenses, but also widely used to make breast implants, medical tubing and other medical devices.
