Applications

SiSiB® PC9718 is used for manufacturing of fluorosilicone rubber (fluorinated silicone rubber, FSR), fluorosilicone fluid (fluorinated silicone fluid).

Fluorosilicone Rubber (fluorinated silicone rubber) has the basic silicone rubber properties of resilience, high/low temperature stability and resistance to aging and degradation from sunlight and ozone. The Aerospace Industry has a particular interest in Fluorosilicone compounds as they resist a series of silicate ester industrial coolants fluids. It is also resistant to jet fuel, engine oil, silicone oils and hydraulic fluids..
