Fumed Silica
Fillers are generally employed with both one and two component RTV silicone formulations. The fillers are used to provide improved properties (application and physical). High surface area fumed silica are most commonly used to provide reinforcing characteristics. Fumed silica will also provide thixotropy that is necessary in many sealant applications.

Silazanes
SiSiB® Silazanes are used to treat silica fillers to make them more hydrophobic.
